Detroit Warehouse Art & Design Fair
The Bobby Anspach Studios Foundation is on the move with a bold presence at this year’s Detroit Warehouse Art & Design Fair (September 19–21) at the iconic Boyer Campbell Building in Detroit. Located in the parking lot adjacent to the fair, the Foundation will debut a mobile unit inspired by the Walmart parking lot activations visionary artist Bobby Anspach engaged in during his lifetime, bringing an experience to the contemporary art sphere that is informal, inviting, and deeply intentional.
The Foundation’s presence at the Detroit Art Fair is a converted tractor trailer, transformed into a roving installation space featuring one of Bobby Anspach’s iconic Place for Continuous Eye Contact domes.

Suchi Reddy on Neuroaesthetics
What is neuroaesthetics? It is the scientific study of the neural consequences of contemplating a creative work of art.
During this talk, Reddy will discuss how neuroaesthetic principles evoke connection, wonder, and empowerment – highlighting these concepts as they relate to the exhibition on view Bobby Anspach: Everything is Change. Through his work, particularly his “Place for Continuous Eye Contact” machines, Bobby sought to build opportunities for grounding connection, joy and love to blossom. In this way, we look forward to learning about the power of place with Suchi Reddy!
Suchi Reddy is an architect, designer, and leading figure in the field of neuroaesthetics, exploring the profound impact of design on human perception and well-being. As the founder of Reddymade, a New York-based practice established in 2002, neuroaesthetics underpins Reddy’s approach to every Reddymade project, providing a framework for understanding how design affects the brain and body.
