While completing his Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design, Bobby Anspach submitted a written thesis as part of his graduation requirements. Written in 2017 and approved as part of the 2018 graduating class, the document reflects many of the ideas that would continue to shape his practice, including perception, impermanence, attention, and the relationship between inner experience and collective responsibility.
